About

Everyone can be an artist.

What if I told you that the only thing that artists are born with is Creativity?
Every skill they have, has been learned, practiced, and improved upon over time.
Bob Ross said, "I believe talent is just a pursued interest." And I believe he's right!
Art is for everyone.
It's also GOOD for EVERYONE!
Did you know that scientific studies have proven that art appreciation improves our quality of life and makes us feel good? When we create art, we elevate our mood, we improve our ability to problem solve, and open our minds to new ideas.
Isn't that amazing?

ABOUT ME

My Name is Brandi Gann and I am the Art Teacher here at DMS! My hopes are to not only educate but inspire these amazing kids! I believe the Arts are so very important, not only for academic development but for emotional and personal development as well.
I hope to create a place where dreams become reality. Where there is freedom to create. And where there is hope and excitement for the future.

The image above was created by one of my amazing students Shyanne Morrison.
